City of Imperial
Lighting and Landscape Maintenance Districts for FY25-26
(Paseo del Sol, Wildflower, and Sky Ranch)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Imperial will hold three (3) public hearings on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, located at 220 West 9th Street, Imperial, California, for the purpose of Approving the Engineer’s Report and Ordering the Levy and Collection of Annual Assessments for Fiscal Year 2025/2026 related to the Districts below:
- Landscape Maintenance District No. 1, Zone 2001-001 (Wildflower) and Zone 2001-02 (Paseo del Sol)
- Landscape Maintenance District No. 2, Zone 2005-03 (Sky Ranch)
- Lighting Maintenance District No. 1, Zone 2001-01 (Wildflower) and Zone 2001-02 (Paseo del Sol)
The City Council of the City of Imperial, on June 4, 2025, adopted the resolutions of intention, received and filed the preliminary Engineer Reports, and authorized the time and place for the public hearings to be considered. Said proceedings for these public hearings shall be pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 and Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
All interested parties desiring to be heard in favor of, or in opposition to, this item will be given an opportunity to do so during the public hearing. Any interested person may file a written protest with the City Clerk prior to the conclusion of the public hearing, or, having previously filed a protest, may file a written withdrawal of that protest. Written protests may be submitted by mail and addressed as follows: City of Imperial, Attn: City Clerk, 420 South Imperial Avenue, Imperial, California 92251. A written protest by a property owner must contain a description sufficient to identify the property owner by such person, e.g., assessor’s parcel number. To be considered by the City Council, all protests must be received prior to the conclusion of the public hearing. A postmark prior to such date and time will not be sufficient.
