ADJUSTMENTS TO THE AGENDA: The City Council may amend the order, add urgency items, note abstentions or “no” votes on consent calendar items, and request consent calendar items be removed from the consent calendar for discussion. The City Council may also remove items from the consent calendar before that portion of the agenda. The City Council may address these issues by entertaining a formal motion.

Presenter: Othon Mora, Community Development Director Recommendation: Approve Ordinance No. 830, ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IMPERIAL ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE LEGISLATIVE BODY OF THE CITY OF IMPERIAL COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 2024-1, COUNTY OF IMPERIAL, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE LEVY OF A SPECIAL TAX IN SUCH COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT, waive reading and approve first reading by title. Authorize staff to place on the next agenda for second reading and adoption and prepare an ordinance summary for publication. |

| D-1. | Authorize the Sunrunner’s Car Club of Imperial Valley to host their 39th Annual Carne Asada Run Car Show at Eager Park and authorize street closures for the event. Presenter: Tony Lopez, Parks and Recreation Director Recommendation: Authorize the Sunrunner’s Car Club to host their event at Eager Park on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and approve partial street closures at the intersections of G Street and 10th Street, H Street and 10th Street, G Street and 9th Street, and H Street and 9th Street. |
